Amber Rose Wines is a limited production, female owned winery. Amber, having been mentored by veteran Santa Barbara winemaker Ken Brown, sources from premium, small, family-run local vineyards farmed sustainably. The wines are hand crafted with care and with minimal intervention to highlight site expression and terroir.

What started as British couple Tim and Anna Arrowsmith’s dream of moving to California has turned into a specialization in small-batch wines crafted from grapes grown on single vineyards. Add veteran winemaker and New Zealand transplant, Ariki Hill, to the mix and you have impressively complex expressions of Santa Ynez Valley and Arroyo Grande grapes.

Based in Lompoc, on the Western edge of the Santa Ynez Valley, Civilization Wine Company is owned and operated by Kris Beverly. Inspired by his father and the local wine-making community, Kris produces balanced, easy-drinking wines that showcase multiple vineyards from around the area.

What happens when a winemaker, Anna, working a harvest in New Zealand, crosses paths with a screenwriting Australian, Peter, at a house-party and start falling in love over a conversation about skills needed for the Zombie Apocalypse? They get married and start a horror themed winery in Santa Barbara County! While the horror is on the walls of their tasting room in Solvang, the small-batch, minimal intervention wines are made from vineyards focusing on sustainable, biodynamic, or organic practices.
